Can You Fix a Scratched DVD with a Banana?

I have two children; they have their favorite DVDs; and sometimes mommy needs them to be watching those DVDs.  So when the favorite DVDs get scratched and stop playing, it's a problem!

Whether it's DVDs, CDs, or game disks for your Xbox or Wii, there are ways to fix and buff out scratches. The Internet is full of solutions — claims that handy products you might have around the house will fix those scratches. So here are the unscientific results of my attempts to fix disk scratches with common household substances  — from best (#1) to worst (#4).

Methodology: I used two forms of scratched disks, ones that had small scratches resulting in a few skips or pixilation points on the disk, and then seriously scratched disks that wouldn't play at all in my DVD player.

#1 Car Wax
I took a fingernail file to a Barney disk (boy was that satisfying), and when I placed it in my DVD player, the screen read "invalid disk" (again, wonderfully joyful).

I put Turtle car wax (liquid form) onto a soft cloth and buffed the disk in an in-to-out motion (not wax on wax off /Mr. Miyagi style).  I rinsed the disk thoroughly and let it dry.

I placed the disk back into the player and, amazingly, it went straight to the menu and played flawlessly. The purple dinosaur rides again, and car wax did the job!

#2 Furniture Polish
I have always used Pledge furniture polish on scratched DVDs, and when I tried it on a minimally scratched disk, Pledge brought it back to life easily. But with a seriously scratched disk that wouldn't play, I had to polish twice with Pledge for it to come back to life. It was a close second to the car wax  — and it smelled better. I think any furniture polish would work; I just used what I had under the sink.

#3 Banana
WHAT? A banana? Yep, this was advised by multiple sites online, so I had to try it. First, I rubbed the banana itself all over the disk, then I finished by rubbing the waxy interior of the peel all around the disk's surface.  I cleaned it well with water, polished with a soft cloth, and let it dry.

The results were pretty good, especially considering I had such low expectations. The minimally scratched disk was good as new after the banana treatment. It does make some sense: that waxy stuff on the peel is pretty slippery — as I'm sure you know from all those years watching cartoon characters slip on banana peels.

But apparently, it wasn't waxy enough to fix the seriously scratched and unplayable disk.  Even after multiple banana cleanings including soft-cloth buff-outs in between, I couldn't get the unplayable disk back from the dead with just the Chiquita treatment.

#4 Toothpaste
Toothpaste, especially the abrasive baking soda kind seems too rough for removing scratches; I was worried it would add scratches of its own to the disk, but I gave it a try. On the minimally scratched disk, I rubbed very gently with Colgate as I tried to clean off scratches and scrapes. When I put the disk in the player, the area where the disk previously skipped was still skipping. So I tried again and this time used baking-soda paste and really rubbed it in hard. When I tried again, the skipping area played straight through — no problems. Turns out there is a fair amount of extra poly-carbonate layered over the data pits on the disk, so buffing can take a top layer off and minimize the scratches.

But when I tried the toothpaste trick on the seriously scratched and unplayable disk, it was completely unsuccessful at resurrecting it. I tried three separate times to buff with toothpaste and then rinse/dry, but it just didn't fix the disk.

Alternate Solutions

SKIP Dr.
If you have a lot of scratched or unplayable disks, it might be worth investing in something like the Skip Dr., which I bought for $30 online. You place your disks into it, crank the handle, and it uniformly takes the top layer of polycarbonate off the disk. It's a more abrasive solution than the toothpaste, and it worked on both my minimally scratched disks and the unplayable disk.

Trade-in your scratched DVDs
Both Walmart and BestBuy have trade-in programs for DVDs. At Walmart, you bring in a DVD, pay $2 per disk, and they give you access to that title via their Internet streaming service Vudu.  At BestBuy, you trade in a physical disk and they give you a $5 coupon towards the purchase of a Blu-Ray movie. Neither store says anything about scratched or unplayable disks, but they do have stipulations about original packaging and other limits, so do read the fine print.

First look: Georgina is Ginebra's newest calendar girl

MANILA, Philippines – Model, host and product endorser Georgina Wilson is finally reaching out to the masses.
Following in the footsteps of her celebrity best friends Anne Curtis and Solenn Heussaff, Wilson appears on the 2013 calendar of Ginebra San Miguel, which sells alcohol-based products.
In a press conference on Friday where she was officially launched as Ginebra’s newest endorser, the Filipino-British model said she considers her newest project as a “milestone for my career.”
Wilson was selected based on a survey conducted by Ginebra.

“I can’t believe na parang I’m number one in the lineup to be selected especially because I don’t have movies out,” she explained as she compared herself to the previous calendar girls.
“The fact that they feel that I can represent their brand, that the masa is aware of me and knows me, parang it’s really surreal and a huge honor,” added Wilson, who is a regular fixture in high-end fashion magazines.
Styled by Pam Quiñones and wearing sexy swimsuits that she chose herself, Wilson appeared in five photos shot by ace lensman Marc Nicdao for the 2013 Ginebra calendar.
A beach in the north, believed to be Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte, is used as a backdrop for the shoot, which had the theme of water sports.
“We went to a location up north which, as you can see, is not the usual terrain even if there are beaches and stuff. We wanted to shoot something different kasi usually down south ‘yung mga shoots,” she said as she points to one of her photos.
“I was very hands-on in choosing the outfits para maging sexy, like ‘yung mga bikinis that I like wearing,” she added. “And I like the theme of water sports because I think that to have that fun spirit and a body that you can be happy with, you have to be active in sports, you it was something na talagang fit sa calendar.”

Asked how long she prepared her body for the shoot, Wilson said: “Two months. And it wasn’t easy.”
“As in wala nang sweets, dinedma ko ang rice, lahat-lahat na and I worked [out] every single day. So [for me] it was something that was a big project, both physically and mentally. And an honor, all in all.”
The new calendar will be available in supermarkets, groceries and sari-sari stores starting next month.
On showbiz
While she made a number of TV guestings over the past months, Wilson believes that her stint as a calendar girl is her first showbiz outing of sorts.
Now that she has made the first step, is she ready to venture into acting, similar to Curtis and Heussaff?
“If ever the right movie comes along or there’s a project or teleserye na bagay sa akin, I’ll be very willing to take it,” she said.
Asked if she is open to competing with her celebrity friends, the Filipino-British model said: “I really respect the careers of my friends… Anne and Solenn share their experience with me. They give me tips.”

Apple opens biggest Asian store in Beijing

BEIJING - Apple on Saturday opened its biggest Asian store yet in Beijing, with hordes of shoppers descending on the three-floor complex that highlights the growing importance of China to the US tech giant.

The shop, on the major shopping street of Wangfujing in the heart of the capital, covers an area of 2,300 square metres (24,750 square feet), according to Chinese media reports.

China is now the second-biggest market for Apple after the United States but the company has also faced frequent criticism for the conditions in which its products are produced in China.

The enthusiasm for the company's gadgets among the country's fast-growing consumer class was clear Saturday as shoppers quickly packed out the new shop shortly after it opened at 9:00 am (0100 GMT).

Around 100 people also waited outside to enter the store, Apple's sixth official outlet in mainland China, according to an AFP journalist at the scene. Many other shops in China are also licensed to sell Apple products.

The popularity of Apple in China is such that the launch of new iPhone models has in recent years led to huge crowds jostling to get their hands on the smartphones and spawned a black market in the gadgets.

The latest criticism to hit a company linked to Apple came earlier this week when Taiwan's Foxconn, which makes products for the US tech giant, admitted employing children as young as 14 on assembly lines at a plant in China.

It was the latest in a string of problems to beset Foxconn, which has frequently been targeted for its labour practices following a spate of suicides in 2010 that activists blamed on tough working conditions.

Apple has seen its sales soar in China.

The company took in $12.4 billion in China in the first half of the current fiscal year to March, putting the company easily on course to eclipse the $13.3 billion in Chinese sales in the prior 12-month period.

Donaire arrives in Manila

MANILA, Philippines – World super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire arrived in Manila on Saturday morning.

Donaire was happy to be back in Manila after his technical knockout victory over Japanese fighter Toshiaki Nishioka last week in California.

“I was trying to set up my punch. He was very defensive di niya ako binigyan ng pagkakataon until ma-upper cut sa 6th round nagiging offensive siya and then in 9th round became the last punch,” Donaire said.

Donaire admitted that he did not anticipate the fight to be that difficult.

“He was very defensive and when he becomes offensive magaling din siya. So di ko akalain na its going to be that difficult. But kung sa tv, parang easy,” Donaire said in an interview with dzMM.

The Filipino Flash said he was really on the lookout for the Japanese boxer’s powerful left straight.

“Alam ko na kapag magja-jab yung itatapon niya yung left straight niya yung pinakamalakas niya,” he said.

Donaire retained the World Boxing Organization and International Boxing Federation super bantamweight titles, while annexing Nishioka’s World Boxing Council diamond belt and the vacant RING super bantamweight title.

Donaire is not yet sure of what’s going to happen next after his recent fight.

“Hindi ko pa po alam for now pero sinasabi nila sa December daw or kung di magawa yun, next year,” he said.

Donaire will be busy promoting his Visayan movie, “Pala ta ang Nagbuot” (Our Fate Decides) in Manila.

Quick vegetable curry

If your aubergines are young and small, they may not need salting which makes this dish even quicker to make.
Ingredients
2 large aubergines, cut into quarters, thickly sliced
salt
good glug groundnut oil
2 onions, peeled and roughly chopped
3 large, juicy garlic cloves, peeled, chopped
finger-length piece fresh root ginger, peeled and cut into fine shreds
6-8 cardamom pods
1-2 good pinches dried chilli flakes
1-2 tsp ground turmeric
1-2 tsp cumin seeds
6-8 tomatoes, roughly chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper
few good dollops natural yoghurt
dollop crème fraîche
small handful fresh coriander, roughly chopped
small handful fresh mint leaves
Preparation method
Place the aubergine slices into a colander set over a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and leave for 30 minutes to draw out the moisture from the aubergine.
Meanwhile, to a large pan over a high heat add the groundnut oil with the onions, garlic and ginger. Cover with a lid, lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes or so, until the onions have softened.
Crush the cardamom pods, extract the black seeds and lightly crush them in a mortar with a pestle. Add them to the same pan, along with the chilli flakes, turmeric and cumin seeds, and stir to lightly toast the spices (discard the empty cardamom pods). Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan, pour in enough water to cover the vegetables, and season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Bring to a simmer, then cover and leave to cook while you cook the aubergine.
Rinse the salt off the aubergine and brown the pieces lightly on a hot griddle, working in batches if necessary. Add the griddled aubergine slices to the pan with the onions, tomatoes and spices, cover and simmer until the aubergine is very soft, about 25 minutes. Taste the curry, turn off the heat then adjust the spice-level by adding natural yoghurt and crème fraîche, to taste. Sprinkle over the chopped coriander and mint and serve.

Should you upgrade to the iPhone 5? By Heather Kelly, CNN

(CNN) -- Deciding when to upgrade is a funny, sometimes expensive thing. Carrier contracts that subsidize the cost of a new iPhone are usually for two years, so it's traditional to upgrade every other model or less. You also want to time it just right, during the iPhone development cycle, so you don't buy a phone months before it's outdated.
If you are an iPhone owner who is pondering an upgrade to the new iPhone 5, here are some things to consider:
Do you long for more screen space/watch a lot of movies?
Perhaps you've heard that the iPhone 5 is taller. This is true. After testing its tallness we've found that there is more space on the screen, which is no longer as short as the previous iPhone screens.
The phone retains its width but is now 9 millimeters taller -- that's one extra row of icons. The dimensions are perfect for watching widescreen movies, which were previously smaller and letter-boxed. The space also gives all other apps a bit more breathing room. Third-party applications must now redesign their apps to fix the new aspect ratio -- which requires time and resources -- so until then, older apps will be shown at normal size, the bar of unused screen space cloaked in mourning-black.
There is a market for much larger smartphone screens, and companies like Samsung have delivered with spacious, high-resolution smartphones. This is largely a matter of preference, but if you find that the iPhone 5's screen is still just too small for you, you may need to defect to something like the Samsung Galaxy S3 which has a 4.8-inch screen.
Does your current phone feel slow?
Each iPhone is typically faster than its predecessor, and phones tend to slow down over time. Apple has added a speedier processor to the iPhone 5 in the form of an A6 chip. The company claims it is up to twice as fast, and after testing, the difference is definitely noticeable.
Holding on to a slightly slower iPhone might not be much of an issue if you primarily use it for common tasks -- calls and texts, e-mailing, Twitter and Facebook, reading, even watching movies. If you don't find yourself grumbling at how slow your phone is, and you're still reeling from the speed improvements over the last iPhone you bought, you can probably carry on blissfully unaware of the difference.
However, if you use your iPhone for bigger tasks like playing graphic games, the speed is a very welcome bump indeed. Another place it's a noticeable improvement is the camera (more on that in a moment).
There are also free steps you can take to try and speed up your current phone. Free up some hard drive space by uninstalling apps you never use, emptying Safari's cache and clearing out photos, videos and music (see exactly what's taking up space in Settings->General->Usage). Make sure you regularly close any apps running in the background.
Is your iPhone your primary camera?
Thanks to decent image quality and the ability to share photos and videos instantly, the iPhone is probably more popular as a camera than a telephoning device. The iPhone 5 has the same 8-megapixel camera sensor as the iPhone 4S, but Apple did make a few hardware tweaks to make it fit into the thinner body and to improve image quality.
The best camera improvement is actually just plain old speed. You can take rapid-fire shots as fast as your finger can tap on the shutter button. Tapping to focus is instant. For anyone who has ever missed a moment because of the iPhone's lagging trigger, this is just awesome.

The new iPhone 5 lets users take panorama images.
Apple added a new panorama feature to the Photos app, and while there are numerous third-party panorama apps available, such as Microsoft's Photosynth, the Apple feature manages to beat them at their own game. The stitching is both faster and higher quality than competitors, and the final image is higher resolution.
Other adjustments to the camera include improved low-light images and reduced noise.
Do you use your phone for navigation?
If so, there is a slight caveat.
Every iPhone release comes with its own bit of drama. Sometimes it's overblown, like Antennaga2te, when holding your case-less phone in a very specific position could cause it to drop calls. iPhone 4S users reported battery issues. For the iPhone 5, the issue de jour is its new maps app.
Every iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6 pre-installed. That means the old maps app is automatically out, replaced with Apple's first go at a map application. It adds turn-by-turn directions and nice 3D graphics, but drops transit directions and decreases accuracy.
Apple has always excelled at design and smart user interfaces, but it is not a data company. While it continues to work to make this app what it should be, the best solution is to wait for Google to release its own third-party maps app for iOS. (The company is mum on when exactly that will be, but it will probably happen soon.) In the meantime, there are many other map apps in the Apple App Store, and you can still access Google's service through Safari, thought the experience is slower and less intuitive.
Do you like beautiful things?
The most impressive part of the new iPhone is its design. Apple is comparing the level of construction to a "finely crafted watch." Like a luxury item, its design is impeccable, the attention to detail visible on every seam and surface. It also tells time.
Not everyone integrates their iPhone 5 into an outfit like a Rolex. If you are one of the many people who protect their iPhone with an opaque case, the details won't be visible to people around you. In that situation, you still get the satisfaction of a well-made device, but previous iPhones were also finely crafted and are still in perfectly good shape.
The most dramatic physical difference of the new phone is that it is thinner and lighter. But while a great overall improvement, that's not enough of a reason to warrant upgrading unless you find yourself constantly bemoaning how heavy and fat your existing phone is. If you wear skinny jeans, this might be the one upgrade you were waiting for.
Do you have anything older than an iPhone 4S?
If you have an iPhone 3GS or earlier, upgrade. Do it for the screen. The retina display introduced on the iPhone 4 has been further refined for the iPhone 5 and in side-by-side comparisons with all screens at full brightness, the colors do look more vivid on the iPhone 5.
If you have an iPhone 4, the decision is harder. Consider what new features you really need. If you would get a lot of use out of the Siri voice-assistant, for example, this is a good time to upgrade. If you are a hardcore mobile gamer or serious iPhone photographer, the speed is worth it. But if you find that your two-year-old, well-crafted iPhone is holding up nicely, perhaps stick it out for another year.
IPhone 4S owners should just relax and enjoy their current phones. Wait a year for the next iteration, when your carrier will offer you the upgrade at the subsidized price and all the iPhone 5 owners will suddenly be stuck with old technology.

Alien Races

Adamic / Evadamic Hybrids

Some people call these the first humans, possibly first hybrid descendants of the Anunnaki . It is believed that the Adam / Eve theme shows up in many cultures over every continent in in many ancient texts. It is also believed that there are two races of beings within our universal locale; Draconian's (reptiles) and the Evadamic (human) which battled for domination of Terra, or Earth. They would look somewhat middle eastern or Native American, Black, dark brown hair, dark eyes, olive eyes, in rare cases blue eyes. Or are these mythological creatures in world history?


Alpha Centaurians

A humanoid species that has aquatic qualities such as gills, webbed feet an hands allowing them to live beneath our seas. They possibly inhabit our deep ocean depths and piloting UFO's often seen coming out of our oceans. They have been accredited with cattle mutilations, possess such an advanced weapons systems that other specie swill not war with them. Yet others claim they are here to enlighten our consciousness. Also they've been described as being a luminous bluish gray in color of various height.


Altairians

Supposedly a reptilian ( have seen them described as humanoid/reptilian) species that is associated with the Constellation Aquila, in the Altair solar system. Almost romantic descriptions have been given, they are nomads among the stars, friends to some species of  Nordics, Greys Other planetary military (including ours) and actually help defend Draconian's. Also league with The Ashtar Command. There are both positive and negative thoughts about The Ashtar Command. My cult groups also channel these entities.


Andromedains

Are they myth or reality? Ancient Greek mythology suggest these 'beings' are in association with the gods from the star system Cassiopeia. The brave Hercules had to kill Medusa (a reptilian?) and other Beings, only then to kill himself by fire in the end. God "Zeus", supposedly fathered many offspring, well know are: and then took Andromeda's hand in marriage. There is more fiction based info on the Internet than dealing with UFO alien being related information.


Antarieans

A humanoid species associated with underground bases on earth under Antarctica and associated with fair haired pale almost bluish skinned races. I believe there are at least two other blue skinned races. In some explanations, it's said that these creatures also have reptilian qualities, they have slits instead of regular pupils and eye colors ranging from pale yellow to bright green more in tune with a cat or snakes eyes. In other explanations it is said they may be a pure Aryan race and have the swastika on their ships.


Arcturians

According to Edgar Cayce, the Arcturians are supposedly the most advanced beings in our Galaxy with the ability for dimensional travel. Their society which is a similar structure to that of earth. Apparently they are supposed to bring peace among warring planets. My thought  is ALL Aliens have the ability to enter our earth by dimensional means. Or possibly some species have been here before humankind.


Blues / Greens

They've been described as short and stocky as in Whitley Strieber's book, 'Communion'. They are uniformed have wide faces and a darker blue color with almost comic movements, appearing to float or glide along. In Whitley's experience, they were behaving like medical doctors and examined him. Others have described as looking like a typical Grey except for the coloration and even humanoid varying from dark to brilliant blue. The was a 7 year-olds rendition.


Browns / Greys

 Browns are rarer, like the rare blues and there are several grey species. Browns have been describes as 3 -7 feet tall, in  various shades of brown to a tan color. Skin has been described in some cases a leathery, wrinkled appearance and eye size varies from a large almond shape to small and reptile like.


Cassiopaeans

The Cassiopaeans are supposedly a highly advanced intelligent race of humanoids from the star system of Cassiopeia. Several New Age groups proclaim to channel these beings via telepathic communications. This is possibly another race based in more myth than fact.  They have be described as beings of light,  beings with halos or appearing in a dimensional energy form surrounded by light. Note: Coming form a former channeling cult I cannot place much stock in depending on channeled information as a source for credible information dealing with entities or aliens, or future selves....)


Draconian Reptilians

Will describe all forms of reptilian beings...so many species that each has it's own category. These are called Drac's for short and have a reputation of being cunning, highly intelligent, are very predatory warlike creatures. These are not the good guys, although many people would argue the point.  They have been connected to Roswell, New Mexico cover-up and Dulce Caverns in New Mexico, to underground military bases supposedly in connection with our government and MILABS. They have webbed fingers, nails which resemble talons, with various shades of dark greenish grey scaly skin and have reptile eyes in various colors. They have the ability to shape shift and mask as human. They seem to feed off human energy, off of our fear or other highly charged emotions. Several sources claim they are the original inhabitants of Earth and were driven from the planet by the visiting Adamic / Evadamic (humanoid species) race who may have been part of the Anunnaki and headed for the Draco Star System, many thousands of years ago and will return to take over earth again.


EL's or EL Hybrids

 These are godlike beings of super human strength intelligence and abilities often thought to be the first peoples or akin to a mating of sky gods and mankind. It's possible that these are what many ancient mythologies are based upon. There are several descriptions that would fit early Greek accounts of humans with super human powers such as Cronus ( the father of the universe) and Rhea who are the parents of Zeus.

The El's are said to be related to the Phoenician and Canaanite gods called the Elohim which is found in conjunction with Ezekiel's Wheel, and the pillars of fire that many claim is proof of extraterrestrial visitation. The word EL, translates into meaning, powerful -- "The Strong (or Powerful) One."


Hybrids / Mixed Species

There are many accounts of hybrids with just about every alien species. Below are a few that have been aptly described.

The Grey/ Human Hybrid -- Many abductees describe accounts of seeing half human/ alien children in which they are periodically made to bond with. Children are often described as having oversized heads, large human or alien eyes small noses, small mouths and sparse hair in various colors. Their skin color varies between grey to pale white body type is slim to emaciated but there's been a few descriptions of seeing children who are of normal weight. Many abductees also remember seeing living fetus hybrids in tanks apparently waiting to be born.

 The Reptilian/Human Hybrid-- Apparently reptilian human hybrids don't look much different from other humans. There are accounts throughout history of a serpent race of beings who mated with mankind to create a new bloodline. Some people believe that the human race of homo-erectus IS the genetic coupling of reptilians and humanoids. There is evidence of a godlike race (in some descriptions a serpent race) which visited earth and coupled with humans. There are many accounts written on clay tablets from the Sumerian era. This theme permeates many cultures. It's also believed that these reptilian hybrid bloodlines are aristocratic and comprised of kings, royals and noblemen starting in the middle east and spreading to every continent. Some people claim they have the ability to see through the human outer shell into the reptilian underneath.


Hydra Reptilians

An aquatic reptilian species that lives in or near water, are around 5 feet tall, they have scaly webbed feet and hands. as well as gills and began reportedly coming from the constellation Hydra (also called 'The Sea Serpent') which is comprised of three star systems of Beta Hydrae, Epsilon Hydrae and N Hydrae. In Greek mythology there are the dragons Hydra, Python, and the dragon Typhon, all serpent like.

There are many names of serpent gods and goddesses for that matter throughout every continent including hybrid prototypes engraved on tombs, on walls of unearthed ancient cities in the middle east.


Insectiods / Mantas

 Insect like beings, with big bug like eyes and thin mantas like bodies. They have been described as being 4 to 7 feet tall and are usually accompanied with small neonatal types of dark skinned grays. Some have been described as wearing hooded capes or robes. According to reports, both malevolent and benevolent agendas are being administered.


Iguaniods

Approximately 4-5 ft. tall, with a thick base tail which touches the ground, much like an Iguana as well a hominid exterior.  Abductees have often described them as seen wearing hooded monk type robes as well, capes which conceal there reptilian look which include tails. They seem to have a malevolent agenda, and some claim they are associated with sorcery, black magic. They have reddish, more sanguine colored eyes.


Lacertian Reptilians

A species of aquatic reptilians from these have been described as lizard-like creatures  4- 6 feet tall, with gills, scales on various colors and are of the reptilian order. Some believe they were once depicted as ancient half fish/human gods of Syrian decent. They are reported to possess telepathic abilities as well as the ability to place thoughts inside humans. They are supposedly from the constellation Lacerta, the called the lizard, which extends from the head of the constellation Cepheus to the foot of the star system Perseus. Women experiencers have described being deceived  and raped as these creatures had the ability to mask as movie or  rock stars in dream-like experiences. They've illustrated scenes of tepid enclosed rooms with warm pools of water that are used to mate with both male and female humans. There ships have been described as either wormlike or triangular.


Lemurian Hybrids

Lemurians are a humanoid species that hale from Pleiades. They are humanoids, dark hair and olive skin, usually brown almond-like eyes and supposedly settled in India and other areas of the middle east. They are supposedly here to enlighten the consciousness and traveled here many millennium ago because of the vibrant natural resources of what they call Terra (earth). There are several groups of people who claim to be channeling Lemurians message of peace.


Luciferians

They've been described as the demonic manifestation of the the alien races and have been depicted as looking like earth bound demons but have the ability to mask as human. Others have stated they are a dominant species with intent on taking over earth and enslaving humans and are supposedly connected to the Illuminati. Most likely they are reptilian in origin, as the description implies.


Lyrans

The human inhabitants of Lyra, who are said to have a common origin with earths human species, and the species of Terrain who are supposedly bent on taking over our galaxy. They come in all shapes, sizes from dark-skinned to Caucasian there is supposedly  a red haired, light skinned giant race, with rather large features. Lyrans were evidently driven out of their star system several thousand of years ago and relocated to many areas in the galaxy.


Martians

Martians are obviously supposedly form our solar systems planet Mars. They been described as small little green men with antennae, or as an lizard like reptilian inner planet species, even humanoid. Most every description has been given. Some schools of thought think that Mars was once inhabited by humans, and they escaped to earth when resources dried up. Other believed that a Martian planetary upheaval war/planetary changes due to a pole shift. Surprisingly recent discoveries of water underneath the poles, and clear evidence of river channels, etc. as well as water on the surface makes one wonder. There is a school of thought that we once inhabited Mars- and teraformed Terra known as Earth. because of WAR.


Neonates

The Neonates are an alien species with extreme intelligence. Neonates are three to four feet tall, have a fetus-like facial appearance with a large oversized cranium. They are thin muscled and spindly, have light gray to dark cream-colored skin, five digits on each hand and are reported to possess telepathic abilities. Neonates are often times mistaken for Greys, another similar alien species in stature and color. However, the Neonates (unlike the grays) have pupils and retinas in their unusually large eyes. The eyes of Alien Greys are large too, but they are entirely black and have no distinguishable pupils or retinas in them. Alien Greys have only four digits on each hand as opposed to the five digits on each hand of the Neonate.

It was the Neonate species that was reportedly involved in the Roswell New Mexico UFO crash in 1947. It is also the Neonate species that allegedly abducted Betty and Barney Hill in 1962; the first documented ‘Alien Abduction’ case on record. During that abduction Betty Hill was told by these Neonate aliens that they originated from the Zeta Riticuli star system.


Nordics / Agathartians

 A tall race of blond haired, blue eyed humanoids often related to the star system Pleiades'.   Both male and females are well built with muscular athletic bodies and stand over 6 feet tall. Facial features are humanoid, with eyes, nose and lips that vary in size. They are described as a benevolent race in connection with contact experiences.


Orions

As the Nordics are light haired and eyed, the Orions have been reported to be tall, dark haired with brown almond shaped eyes and  have a malevolent war like personas. Others claim they are the keepers of the heavens and actually prevent the malevolent Draconian species from attacking earth while other reports claim they are in conjunction with other warlike malevolent species.


Other Grey Species

There are as many descriptions of Greys as there are shades of gray. Other species include heights ranging from 2 to 12 feet tall, willowy to muscular bodies large eyes to small humanlike eyes. Skin textures have been describes as fine scales, to the feeling of eel skin and human hairless skin.


Pleiadans

 Usually tall and human looking , Pleiadans have been described as the other humanoid race of the universe with varying hair and eye and skin colors, One species is supposedly look human, but with luminous blue skin a thick wooly red hair.


Raelians

Human people posing as aliens, formed in the mind of cult guru Rael (The Clonaid people, who've have unsubstantiated claims of cloning the first human.) Raelians are supposed to ascendants be our human race and the missing link. Supposedly this group seeded earth with another indigenous species which made humans as we are today. A whole subculture of world wide believers have grown around the leader. Similar to the Uranthans.


Reptilians / Reptiods

 There are a variety of Reptilian species that are non hominid, bipedal and literally cool or cold blooded.  There have been rare reports of a positive interaction with them. Descriptions vary, but a commonality seem to be the reptilian features of greenish grey reptile flesh colored skin with eyes that have slits.  They range in all heights as well, including tails and sheaths which hide their sexual organs. A Majority of reports claim they are perpetuating malevolent agendas.


Subterranean Reptilians

A species of Reptiods that is said to inhabit the subterraneous areas of Earth, the Moon and Mars. Apparently they claim to be earths original inhabitants and say the were driven underground by rogue aliens  called Terrans. There is a whole sub culture of people who believe that they are from these reptilian/human bloodlines.


Serpentine  Reptilians

Reptilians that are snake like in appearance with yellow to red colored irises and elongated pupils. They have been reported to being dark greenish gray, over several feet tall with viper shaped heads, long tails and snake like scales. They have snake like movements. Others have reported them to be giant snakes, larger than the Anaconda, and they  are sentinels, guards that will capture or kill humans who get too close to discovering  subterranean reptilian species.


Sirius Reptilians

 This is an aquatic reptilian species supposedly from our neighboring Dog Star Sirius. They have been described as bipedal, average in height with webbed hands and feet with gills, and others believe they are associated with the half human, half fish or mermaids and mermen. Supposedly the species have underwater bases on earth.


Sirius Beings

The Dogon peoples of Sudan, Africa believe that they received their vast  knowledge of the stars from visitors to Earth, called Nommos - who are amphibian beings sent to Earth from Sirius for the benefit of humanity. The Sumerians depicted their gods as half human/fish and claimed these gods fell from the sky.


Son's of Darkness

This is a species that has supposedly perpetuated a war within our universe to battle for the human soul, and domination over all humanoid species since the beginning of time. It's unclear if they are a true alien species or demonic as both sides of the Bible and UFO camps claim them as their own.  There has been reference to them in the Bible, and in other religious texts. My Research suggests they may be a little of both.


Son's of Light

This is a species that fights the Sons of Darkness within our universe to battle for the human soul, and  supposedly sent to protect all humanoid species since the beginning of time. It's unclear if they are a true alien species or angelic. There has been reference to them in the Bible, and in other religious texts including the Keys of Enoch.


The Ancients

Supposedly the first species to come to earth and taught humankind the ability to grow crops and organize in communities. They are connected to the Phoenicians, Egypt and referenced in the Bible.


Ultra terrestrials

Supposedly  the species of Greys that were involved in the  infamous Roswell, New Mexico  crash  They are described as beings with large heads, willowy bodies. Supposedly, these creatures who gave the government a technological boost in exchange for human experimentation. They are supposedly capable to live underground.


Urantian

 According to believers the Urantia Brotherhood are benevolent teachers of the universe and are human looking. They are described as humanoid, in all shapes, colors and sizes.  They were sent to help humanity to recover before the end times They will supposedly manifest before humans destroy themselves. A whole subculture of believers have formed around the Book of Urantia. Very similar to the the structure and belief of  Raelians.


Vampuria Reptilians

Supposedly a species of reptilian that sustains its life force by siphoning off human energies and emotions. They are several feet with a  bulb like hump between their foreheads, elongated arms and legs, eyes are red with slits for pupils, the bodies are reptile like bipedal and hands have four digits with dark talons. They are a hybrid species.


Vegans

Supposedly a couple of species exist. The humanoid species descended as refugees from the Lyran Wars,  they  work closely with other refugee-colonists now living in the Pleiades.  They look human are said to be gentle and peaceful.

The second group is also humanoid but with the characteristics of a reptile or insect like, they are described as having a greenish tint to their skin, but colors range from flesh to black. Both species are said to have large eyes.


Venusians

Brought into popularity by the late George Adamski , Venusians are supposedly humanoid looking with various  skin and eye colors. They wear military type uniforms and working with the world governments as well as monitoring earthlings progress. They supposedly have underground bases in the Nevada desert.

Exploring Leyte Underwater

Residents call this one "Lukot" just add some vinegar, and this one is ready to be eaten, 100% safe.

Native of Maasin call this one "Aninikad" a type of shell that is very perfect for lunch, this one can be cooked boiled and you may need a needle to get it's meat from it's hard shell.

One of my friend catch some kind of small fish, I don't know what type of fish is this.

A tropical sea krait, this one looks different from other sea snakes, this kind of sea snake lives on the mangrove roots.

A sea cucumber, there are thousand of species of sea cucumber, this one can be seen on day, others species can only be seen at nigh time.

Maasinhon people call this one "SUWAKI" a type of sea urchin that can be eaten.

The puffer fish, this kind of fish is well known because they are very poisonous if prepared incorrectly.
