MYSTERIOUS 'SPACE BALL' CRASHES IN NAMIBIA

Analysis by Ian O'Neill

Around mid-November, authorities in Namibia were alerted to the discovery of a hollow sphere that had apparently crashed to Earth from space.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing a series of explosions a few days before the extraterrestrial find. The "space ball" was consequently recovered near a village in the north of the African nation, 480 miles from the capital Windhoek.

The mystery sphere has a diameter of 35 centimeters (14 inches), a rough surface and appears to consist of "two halves welded together," police forensics director Paul Ludik told the AFP news agency.

Ludik also described the object as being made of a "metal alloy known to man," weighing in at six kilograms (13 pounds). "It is not an explosive device, but rather hollow, but we had to investigate all this first," he added.

Baffled, the Namibian police have appealed to NASA and the European Space Agency for an explanation.

So what could it be? Assuming it does originate from space, is it a component from a top secret space weapon? Space hopper? Or could the explanation be a little more... alien?

Sadly, we won't be seeing the Men In Black flying to Windhoek any time soon. This hollow sphere will immediately strike a chord with any space expert.

Exhibit A looks like a dusty "Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel" (or COPV for short) and although it did drop from orbit, it's simply an exotic-looking chunk of space junk.

ANALYSIS: Space Junk Problem Reaches 'Tipping Point'

COPVs have a variety of space applications, but they all provide the same function -- they store gases under pressure in a space environment.

What's more, to maintain the high pressure within the COPV, they are made of very tough material, often wrapped in carbon fiber or Kevlar. This is why COPVs can remain intact on reentry.

Similar spheres have been discovered in other locations around the planet. In 2008, for example, I reported on the discovery of a COPV in Brazilian farmland. That object too ignited awe and mystery. Right around the same time, a farmer from Australia went public on his 2007 find -- another bashed-up COPV in the Aussie Outback.

ANALYSIS: Solar Activity Spells Doom for NASA Satellite

Earlier this year, the severe Texas drought revealed space debris at the bottom of a lake -- a fuel tank from Space Shuttle Columbia. The shuttle broke up on reentry in 2003, killing all seven astronauts on board. Debris from the disaster rained down on the state, including the shuttle's COPVs.

So what of the Namibian find? It seems likely that this well-preserved COPV could have originated from any space mission that requires the use of COPVs, so we'll have to wait and see what NASA or the ESA says about which spacecraft it came from.

Starchild Skull

This weird looking skull is the famous Starchild Skull that was found in 1930. The Starchild Skull was discovered in a mine tunnel about 100 miles southwest of Chihuahua, Mexico along with several other normal skeletons.
Both radio carbon dating and DNA test have been performed on this skull and the tests have determined that the Starchild lived around 900 years ago and was a male child around the age of 4.5 to 5 years old.
There are several abnormalities with the skull of the Starchild. For instance the orbital cavities are oval and shallow, with the optic nerve canal located at the bottom of the cavity instead of at the back. There also seams to be no frontal sinuses and the back of the skull is flattened, but apparently not by any artificial means. However the most bizarre abnormality of the StarChild Skull is that it has an interior volume of 1600 cubic centimeters, which is 200 cubic centimeters larger than the average adult’s brain.
Currently the Starchild Skull is in the possession of writer and lecturer Lloyd Pye who came into possession of the skull in 1999.

Who is Bob Lazar?

Robert Scott Lazar or Bob Lazar (born January 26, 1959, in Coral Gables, Florida, United States, to Albert Lazar and Phyllis Berliner), claims to have worked from 1988 until 1989 as a physicist at an area called S-4 (Sector Four), located near Groom Lake, Nevada, next to Area 51. According to Lazar, S-4 served as a hidden military location for the study and possible reverse engineering of extraterrestrialflying saucers. Lazar says he saw nine different discs there and provides details on their mode of propulsion. His critics have asserted that "Lazar's credibility crumbled" after "schools he was supposed to have attended had no record of him, while others in the scientific community had no memory of ever meeting him.

Biography and claims

Lazar first jumped on the media map in 1982 in the Los Alamos Monitor. The article titled "LA MAN JOINS THE JET SET - AT 200 MILES AN HOUR" was about a jet car that Lazar had created and worked on for years with help from a NASA researcher. The car was built from a jet engine modified and placed on an existing car model. It is also important to note that the article noted Lazar as "a physicist at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility", as it is one media article that puts Robert on the map as a physicist.

In November 1989, Lazar appeared in a special interview with investigative reporter George Knapp on Las Vegas TV station KLAS to discuss his purported employment at S-4. In his interview with Knapp, Lazar said he first thought the saucers were secret terrestrial aircraft whose test flights must have been responsible for many UFO reports. Gradually, on closer examination and from having been shown multiple briefing documents, Lazar came to the conclusion that the discs were actually of extraterrestrial origin. In his filmed testimony Lazar explains how this impression first hit him after he boarded one craft being studied and examined its interior.

For the propulsion of the studied vehicles, Bob Lazar claims that the atomic Element 115 served as a nuclear fuel. Element 115 (nicknamed 'Ununpentium' (Uup)) reportedly provided an energy source which would produce anti-gravity effects under proton bombardment along with antimatter for energy production, as the intense strong nuclear force field of Element 115's nucleus would be properly amplified the resulting large-scale gravitational effect would be a distortion of the surrounding space-time continuum that would, in effect, greatly shorten the distance and travel time to a charted destination.

Lazar also claims that he was given introductory briefings describing the historical involvement by extraterrestrial beings with this planet for the past 1,000,000 years. The beings originate from the Zeta Reticuli 1 & 2 star system and are therefore referred to as Zeta Reticulians, popularly called 'Greys'.

Lazar says he has degrees from the California Institute of Technology and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1993, the Los Angeles Times looked into his background and found there was no evidence to support his claims. Stanton Friedman was only able to verify that Lazar took electronics courses in the late 1970s at Pierce Junior College. The Times did discover that in 1990 Lazar had pled guilty to felony pandering (he installed a computer system for a local brothel[8], declared bankruptcy and listed his occupation as self-employed photo processor on documents. A 1991 Times article reported, Lazar was "on probation in Clark County, Nevada, on a pandering charge. His educational and professional background cannot be verified - a fact he attributes to government deletion of records.

Desert Blast

Lazar and long time friend Gene Huff run Desert Blast, an annual festival for "explodaholics" in the Nevada desert. Starting in 1987 (but only formally named in 1991, inspired by Desert Storm) the festival features home-made explosives, rockets, jet-powered vehicles, and other pyrotechnics, with the intention of emphasizing the fun aspect of physics.

United Nuclear

In the year 2000 Lazar started United Nuclear, an amateur scientific supply company formerly operated in Sandia Park, New Mexico and recently moved to Laingsburg, MI. United Nuclear sells a variety of materials including radioactive ores, powerful magnets, scientific curiosities like aerogel, and a variety of lab chemicals. United Nuclear claims "over 300,000 satisfied customers," including law-enforcement agencies, schools and amateur scientists.

In 2006 Lazar and wife Joy White were charged with violating the Federal Hazardous Substances Act for shipping restricted chemicals across state lines following a federal investigation started in 2003. The charges stemmed from a 2003 raid on Lazar's business where chemical sales records were examined. The maximum penalty is 270 days in prison and a $15,000 fine.[13] Lazar claimed that he mistakenly concluded that he could legally sell the chemicals after finding incorrect information on the internet.

In 2007 Lazar/United Nuclear were fined $7,500 for violating a law against selling chemicals and components used to make illegal fireworks.[15] Lazar "pled guilty to three criminal counts of introducing into interstate commerce and aiding and abetting the introduction into interstate commerce of banned hazardous substances."Lazar also "entered into a consent decree that permanently limits the amount of future sales of fireworks-related chemicals", and United Nuclear Scientific Equipment and Supplies was placed on probation for three years.

Lazar again gained attention in 2006 from news reports that he sold small amounts of Polonium, a radioactive element which was in the news because of its role in fatally poisoning former Soviet intelligence agent and whistleblower Alexander Litvinenko.

Fact or Fiction

Although his stories have garnered some rather interesting fanfare and media attention, it is hard to determine what the truth really is. Some hold out for Bob's story, but the majority of others remain skeptical. Including Stanton Friedman, who looked into Lazar's claims and did his own investigating on the matter. Another debunker is Dr. David L. Morgan. Morgan looked into all of Lazar's scientific claims and put down most of the ideas that Lazar had elaborated on in his description of the alien spacecraft, particularly its propulsion systems and use of Element 115. Morgan also went on to say, "After reading an account by Bob Lazar of the "physics" of his Area 51 UFO propulsion system, my conclusion is this: Mr. Lazar presents a scenario which, if it is correct, violates a whole handful of currently accepted physical theories. That in and of itself does not necessarily mean that his scenario is impossible. But the presentation of the scenario by Lazar is troubling from a scientific standpoint. Mr. Lazar on many occasions demonstrates an obvious lack of understanding of current physical theories."

The Mystery of the Crystal Skulls

Introduction

Skulls are humanity's foremost symbol of death, and a powerful icon in the visual vocabularies of cultures all over the globe. Thirteen crystal skulls of apparently ancient origin have been found in parts of Mexico, Central America and South America, comprising one of the most fascinating subjects of 20th Century archaeology.

These skulls, found near the ancient ruins of Mayan and Aztec civilizations (with some evidence linking the skulls with past civilization in Peru) are a mystery as profound as the Pyramids of Egypt, the Nazca Lines of Peru, or Stonehenge. Some of the skulls are believed to be between 5,000 and 36,000 years old.
Many indigenous people speak of their remarkable magical and healing properties, but nobody really knows where they came from or what they were used for.
Were they left behind after the destruction of a previous world, such as Atlantis? Are they simply ingenious modern fakes or can they really enable us to see deeply into the past and predict the future?
Much research is currently being done on the skulls. However, their origin is still a baffling mystery. They seem to defy logic. Everything that is known about lapidary work indicates that the skulls should have been shattered fractured, or fallen apart when carved.

Famous Crystal Skulls

This report examines the known history of crystal skulls, various viewpoints on where they might have came from, and the secrets they may reveal.

The Anna Mitchell-Hedges Skull
was discovered in British Honduras in 1927
The most widely celebrated and mysterious crystal skull is the Mitchell-Hedges Skull, for at least two good reasons. First, it is very similar in form to an actual human skull, even featuring a fitted removable jawbone. Most known crystal skulls are of a more stylized structure, often with unrealistic features and teeth that are simply etched onto a single skull piece.
Second, it is impossible to say how the Mitchell-Hedges skull was constructed. From a technical standpoint, it appears to be an impossible object which today's most talented sculptors and engineers would be unable to duplicate.

The discovery of this baffling artifact is a controversial matter. It was brought into prominence by British explorer F. A. Mitchell-Hedges, who claimed that his daughter unearthed it in 1924. Mitchell-Hedges led an expedition in the ancient Mayan ruins of Lubaantun, in Belize (then British Honduras), searching for evidence of Atlantis.

The story goes that his daughter, Anna, was rummaging inside a structure believed to have once been a temple, when she found the beautifully carved cranium of the crystal skull. It was lacking its jawbone, but the matching mandible was found three months later, some 25 feet away from the first discovery. Mitchell-Hedges claimed that he refused to take the skull away, and offered it to the local priests, but the Mayans gave the skull back to him as a gift upon his departure.

It now appears that this tale of the skull's discovery was entirely fabricated. Mitchell-Hedges apparently purchased the skull at an auction at Sothebys in London, in 1943. This has been verified by documents at the British Museum, which had bid against Mitchell-Hedges for the crystal artifact.

This revelation is consistent with the known history of Mitchell-Hedges's involvement with the skull. There are no photographs of the skull among those that were taken during his Lubaatun expedition, and there is no documentation of Mitchell-Hedges displaying or even acknowledging the skull prior to 1943.

The skull remains in the possession of the octogenarian Anna Mitchell-Hedges. She resides in Canada and displays the skull on frequent tours. Anna has maintained for all these years that she discovered the skull, even though there is reason to doubt that she was present at the Lubaatun expedition at all.
The Mitchell-Hedges skull is made of clear quartz crystal, and both cranium and mandible are believed to have come from the same solid block. It weighs 11.7 pounds and is about five inches high, five inches wide, and seven inches long. Except for slight anomalies in the temples and cheekbones, it is a virtually anatomically correct replica of a human skull. Because of its small size and other characteristics, it is thought more closely to resemble a female skull -- and this has led some to refer to the Mitchell-Hedges skull as a "she."
The Mitchell-Hedges family loaned the skull to Hewlett-Packard Laboratories for extensive study in 1970. Art restorer Frank Dorland oversaw the testing at the Santa Clara, California, computer equipment manufacturer, a leading facility for crystal research. The HP examinations yielded some startling results.

Researchers found that the skull had been carved against the natural axis of the crystal. Modern crystal sculptors always take into account the axis, or orientation of the crystal's molecular symmetry, because if they carve "against the grain," the piece is bound to shatter -- even with the use of lasers and other high-tech cutting methods.

To compound the strangeness, HP could find no microscopic scratches on the crystal which would indicate it had been carved with metal instruments. Dorland's best hypothesis for the skull's construction is that it was roughly hewn out with diamonds, and then the detail work was meticulously done with a gentle solution of silicon sand and water. The exhausting job -- assuming it could possibly be done in this way -- would have required man-hours adding up to 300 years to complete.
Under these circumstances, experts believe that successfully crafting a shape as complex as the Mitchell-Hedges skull is impossible; as one HP researcher is said to have remarked, "The damned thing simply shouldn't be."

The British Crystal Skull and the Paris Crystal Skull

The British Crystal Skull.  It is currently residing in the British Museum of Man in London, England,
and has been there since 1898. It is a one piece clear quartz full size quartz crystal skull.

There is a pair of similar skulls known as the British Crystal Skull and the Paris Crystal Skull. Both are said to have been bought by mercenaries in Mexico in the 1890s, possibly at the same time.
They are so similar in size and shape that some have guessed that one was copied to produce the other. In comparison to the Mitchell-Hedges skull, they are made of cloudier clear crystal and are not nearly as finely sculpted. The features are superficially etched and appear incomplete, without discretely formed jawbones. The British Crystal Skull is on display at London's Museum of Mankind, and the Trocadero Museum of Paris houses the Paris Crystal Skull.

Mayan Crystal Skull and the Amethyst Skull

Further examples of primitively sculpted skulls are a couple called the Mayan Crystal Skull and the Amethyst Skull. They were discovered in the early 1900s in Guatemala and Mexico, respectively, and were brought to the U.S. by a Mayan priest. The Amethyst Skull is made of purple quartz and the Mayan skull is clear, but the two are otherwise very alike. Like the Mitchell-Hedges skull, both of them were studied at Hewlett-Packard, and they too were found to be inexplicably cut against the axis of the crystal.

Stonehenge and the end of the world Mysteries

The Stonehenge

The Stonehenge Monument of America stands straight with an aura of mystery surrounding its five erect slabs. The gigantic structure created in 1980 comprises of five huge granite slabs each of which are 16 ft tall and weighs over twenty tons apiece. All the five slabs together support a grand capstone of 25,000 pound. A small glimpse at the structure reminds well of the ancient Stonehenge Monument located in England but the American one comes with a different significance. The rocky structure is located in Georgia and thus is also termed as “Georgia Guidestones”. The rocks have several directives or guidelines carved in 8 different languages. It’s the common belief that the Stonehenge monument is waiting for the world to end and the guidelines here are actually given to instruct the survivors of humanity on rebuilding a civilization.

The guidelines on the Stonehenge Monument signifies that an apocalypse is impending soon which would be followed by the Age of Reason. The instructions thus chiefly focus on reconstructing the future social order based on love and humanity. They emphasize on a profound respect for beauty, love, integrity with an approach to establish harmony with Infinite. Another guideline highlights a social order constructed on “just courts” and “fair laws” where all the nations would rule internally and the external disputes would be resolved by all countries together in the “World Court”. The new civilization would further have the human beings working with a perfect balance in between their rights and social duties. Besides, the guidelines also direct to preserve the natural resources eliminating cancer threats from the world.

There are many such guidelines that is said to be needed to channelize the human race in the predicted new Age of Reason which is said to usher with the end of the world. The Georgia Guidelines are laid down in 10 different dialects such as Spanish, English Russian, Chinese, Hebrew, Sanskrit, Swahili, Egyptian Hieroglyphic, Classical Greek and Babylonian Cuneiform.

As told earlier, the 1980 Stonehenge Monument in Georgia is enshrouded in mystery. Nobody precisely has the knowledge as who was the one exactly to commission for the Georgia Guidelines and why. The sole hints for its genesis are found to be on a close by plaque on ground that features dimensions corresponding to movements of stars and the sun.

But whoever its architects were, it seemed that they were aware of the purpose of Stonehenge Monument in Georgia. The monument was directed to build as a structure that would track the Sun flawlessly. History says, that the entire thing began in 1979 June when a grey haired elegantly decked up gentleman appeared in the official chamber of the esteemed Elberton Granite Finishing. He gave his introduction as somebody called Robert C. Christian and claimed himself to be the representative of a little group of faithful Americans who are planning for the construction of a grand as well as a very complex stone structure. He further said that he chose Elberton since he believed it to be finest producers of stone structures and since his proposed construction is about to carry a huge significance, he cannot thrust the immense responsibility on anybody other than Elberton.

When Fendley, the President of Elberton Granite, asked Christian the reason behind such an unusual construction, Christian replied that his proposed structure would work as a clock, calendar and compass. But most importantly the huge granite structure would actually be the place of certain guidelines in all the major languages of the world that would actually help the mankind in building a new and efficient world order based on reasons and rational. He further emphasized that the new world system would be evolving after the present world would come to its end. Thus, Christian’s directions were to build up a truly durable structure that would be stable enough to stand against any catastrophe so that the shattered and devastated remnants of the humanity would get their guide intact in reestablishing a proper and better civilization compared to the one which is on the verge of its own destruction.

It’s said that Fendley tried to discourage Christian in many ways citing an unusually high cost and many other factors. But nothing seemed to deter Christian and agreed to every exorbitant criterion Fendley put forward for the project. Finally Fendley was compelled to take his uncanny client to Wyatt Martin, the President from Granite City Bank as
Christian asked for a credible banker in the town. Martin was taken aback on his first meet with Christian as the latter disclosed his name to be a mere pseudo interpretation yet the Bank President was also impressed with Christian’s presence as he showed in a neat expensive suit.

stone-henge rocksHe was well spoken too and seemed to be well educated and hence Martin could not stop himself in giving his consent on the terms and conditions of Christian, even though they were extraordinary. Later on Martin and Christian almost became pals but Christian was still firmly secretive about his whole identity and even sent cash from various banks so that no body could trace them. Martin didn’t make any further attempt to know about Christian’s group since on their first meeting only Christian made it clear that he wished the curiosity to stay “enshrouded” in the great “sunny stillness”.

However, not everybody seems to be comfortable with the particular notion of apocalypse leading to the termination of world that is predicted to give rise to a new world system. The opponents smeared the Georgia Guidelines with spray-printed slogans shouting “Death to new world” and other such protesting graffiti. However, these slogans were not the 1st attack on the Georgia Guidelines. For decades, the uncanny structure erected at the center of Bible belt zone has been found to generate responses involving both horror and disbelief.

However, the Georgia Guidelines had its group of supporters too and that included many popular celebrities such as Yoko Ono. The unholy assumptions since the American Stonehenge construction could not stop followers from visiting the place and Ono even contributed one of her tracks “Georgia Stone” chanting the guidelines of the Georgia Guidelines.
